AirJet Cooling Technology Revolutionizes Mini PC Design
Frore Systems has developed a micro-electromechanical system that shoots air out of a solid-state chip, cooling with a device thinner and quieter than most fans could manage. The device is called AirJet, and Zotac has just announced it will sell an AirJet-cooled mini-PC for $499 by the end of this year. The AirJet Mini is designed primarily for edge computing, Internet of Things, and digital signage. The AirJet provides less cooling than competing solutions, but it could be used in gaming smartphones, 4K webcams, stick PCs, SSD enclosures, doorbell cameras, and LED light bulbs.
