airBaltic Expands Airbus A220 Fleet with 30 New Orders
Latvian flag carrier airBaltic has placed an order for up to 50 additional Airbus A220-300s, consisting of 30 firm orders and 20 options, complementing their previous order for 50 of these jets. The airline aims to operate a fleet of 100 A220s by 2030 and is currently the largest operator of this variant in the world. The A220-300 offers fuel efficiency, passenger comfort, and a range of up to 3,450 nautical miles. Despite challenges, airBaltic has maintained its core strategy and is known for its disciplined and consistent growth.
