Upcoming Air Force Flyovers: Where and When to Watch

The U.S. Air Force will conduct two large flyovers over the East Coast on Tuesday afternoon to celebrate 100 years of air refueling. The flyover will include one KC-135, eight KC-46s, and six C-17s departing from the 305th Air Mobility Wing at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. There will be two separate routes, including one through New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania and another across New York. Multiple Flyovers Across US to Commemorate Aviation Milestones on Tuesday

The US Air Force and Utah Air National Guard will conduct a flyover in northern and central Utah on Tuesday to celebrate 100 years of air refuelling. The first air refuelling was completed on 27 June 1923 by US Army Air Service aviators. The process allows planes to stay in the air for longer, saving fuel and time during extended flights. The flyover will take place at various locations across Utah, including the Utah State Capitol Building, Cedar City Airport and Park City.
