Upcoming Air Force Flyovers: Where and When to Watch
The U.S. Air Force will conduct two large flyovers over the East Coast on Tuesday afternoon to celebrate 100 years of air refueling. The flyover will include one KC-135, eight KC-46s, and six C-17s departing from the 305th Air Mobility Wing at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. There will be two separate routes, including one through New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania and another across New York. The U.S. Air Force said that "aerial refueling serves as a force multiplier, increasing the speed, range, lethality, flexibility, and versatility of combat aircraft."
