"Massive Honda and Acura Recall for Airbag Defect: 750,000 Vehicles Affected"
Honda is recalling over 750,000 vehicles, including models from 2020 to 2022, due to a defect that may cause air bags to deploy when they shouldn't. The issue stems from a cracked capacitor in the front passenger seat weight sensor's printed circuit board, which could lead to injuries for occupants, especially children and infants. Affected owners will be notified and can have the faulty part replaced at Honda and Acura dealers. This recall adds to a series of recent automotive recalls, including Toyota's warning of 50,000 vehicles with faulty air bag inflators and BMW's recall related to the massive Takata air bag recall.
