Protesters cause chaos at Grand National racecourse.
Animal rights protesters disrupted the Grand National horse race in England's northwest by attempting to attach themselves to a fence. The race was delayed by 15 minutes before getting underway and was won by Corach Rambler. Two people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance, and another woman was arrested in connection with potential coordinated disruption activities. The Animal Rights group had planned to "shut down" the race, but Aintree Racecourse had a "robust" security plan in place.
