Google is introducing new features for its Workspace for Education customers, including custom building blocks in Docs, speaker notes in Slides and Meet, and closed captions in Meet recordings. All Education users will benefit from AI-powered hand raise detection in Meet. Google Classroom users on the Teaching and Learning Upgrade and Education Plus tier will have access to new features such as adding questions to YouTube videos, sorting grades and assignments by quarters/semesters/terms, and practice sets with helpful hints.
