Microsoft 365 Premium: the price tag doesn't match the value for most users
ZDNET argues that Microsoft 365 Premium costs more without clear added value, as its AI credits are vague and hard to gauge. For most users, Personal offers desktop apps, 1 TB OneDrive per person, and Copilot at a lower price, while Family adds sharing but Copilot access is limited to the account owner. Basic is too limited for desktop Office apps. In short, skip Premium unless you specifically need its AI features and can tolerate uncertain limits; otherwise choose Personal or Family.
