"Record-breaking Man Rescued from Remote Island: A Debt of Gratitude"
An army veteran and oceanographer attempting to break the world record for time spent on the remote island of Rockall had to be rescued after bad weather destroyed his equipment and put his life at risk. Christopher "Cam" Cameron, who planned to stay on the island for 60 days, was airlifted to safety by a British coastguard helicopter. He expressed gratitude to the rescue team and others who assisted him, stating that he owed them his life.
