Jets Release Safety Adrian Amos in Unexpected Move
The New York Jets have waived safety Adrian Amos by mutual agreement, with Amos reportedly happy about the decision. Amos, who has played a limited role this season, hopes to either be claimed by another team or become an unrestricted free agent if he passes through waivers. Any team interested in Amos can put in a waiver claim for him, and he is owed approximately $350,000 in salary for the remaining five weeks of the season.
