Adobe adds on-device AI masks and Firefly-powered features to Premiere and After Effects
Adobe announced AI-powered updates for Premiere and After Effects: an on-device Object Mask that automatically tracks subjects with editable masks; an upgraded Shape Mask with faster, more precise controls; seamless media import from Firefly Boards and full Adobe Stock integration in Premiere; and in After Effects, SVG import and 3D parametric meshes to create graphics directly inside images. All processing is on-device and Adobe says it does not use user activity to train its models.
