Goldman Sachs' Long-Term Growth Strategies: Small Cap Rally and Three Key Themes
Goldman Sachs Asset Management has launched an active small cap ETF, the Goldman Sachs Small Cap Core Equity ETF, in response to investor demand for exposure to small cap stocks. The ETF has gained almost 8% since its October launch, while the Russell 2000, which tracks small cap stocks, has risen over 7% in the same period. Despite recent gains, the Russell 2000 is still underperforming the broader S&P 500 index by about 13% year-to-date.
