The University of California, Riverside has been invited to join the Association of American Universities (AAU), a selective group of the nation's foremost universities that claim the majority of competitively awarded federal research funding. UCR was admitted with five other universities, including Arizona State University, University of South Florida, University of Notre Dame, University of Miami, and The George Washington University.
