Doan inks long-term deal to anchor Sabres' future
Buffalo Sabres forward Josh Doan signed a seven-year extension worth a $6.95 million AAV, keeping him in Buffalo through the 2032-33 season. The 23-year-old is posting career highs this season (15 goals, 20 assists, 35 points) and leads with 35 takeaways, while driving strong two-way play as the Sabres enjoy favorable expected-goals metrics with him on the ice.
