Next-Gen 12V-2x6 Connector: Improved Safety and Design Replaces 12VHPWR

PCI-SIG has revealed the design for the 12V-2x6 PCIe 6.0 connector, which will replace the 12VHPWR connector and offer the same 600W power delivery while addressing the issue of melting plugs. The new connector will be compatible with existing form factor specifications and will allocate additional power through the PCIe slot.
