"Tropical Storm Tammy: Atlantic's Newest Weather Threat"

Tropical Storm Tammy has formed in the Atlantic and is expected to bring rain, wind, and high surf impacts to the northeast Caribbean islands. Tammy is currently located east of the Lesser Antilles and is moving westward. It is forecasted to pass near the northeast Caribbean islands by Friday and Saturday before turning northeastward out to sea. Tammy is not a threat to the continental United States at this time. Tropical storm watches have been issued for Barbados, Dominica, Martinique, and Guadeloupe, with heavy rainfall potentially causing flooding and mudslides.
