Tropical Storm Franklin has formed in the Caribbean and is expected to approach the coast of Hispaniola, bringing heavy rainfall. Tropical Storm Emily is expected to weaken and become a post-tropical remnant low. Tropical Depression 6 is forecasted to dissipate soon. An area of disturbed weather in the Gulf of Mexico may develop into a tropical depression. Another tropical depression is possible off the African coast. Hurricane Hillary has weakened to a tropical storm and is expected to bring heavy rainfall to southern California.
