"German Tourists Accused of Toppling Historic Italian Statue"

A group of young German tourists visiting a villa in northern Italy have been accused of toppling a 150-year-old statue while posing for pictures to post on social media. Two of the tourists climbed into a fountain to hug the statue, while another pushed it with a stick, causing it to crash to the ground. The villa's manager has filed a complaint against all 17 tourists, who have since left Italy. The statue, valued at around 200,000 euros, is difficult to repair due to additional damage to the fountain tiles.
