Italian Mother Successfully Evicts Adult Sons in Landmark Court Case

An Italian woman, aged 75, has won a court case to evict her two adult sons, aged 40 and 42, who refused to leave the family home. The sons, who had jobs but did not contribute to household expenses or chores, were ordered to move out by a judge who deemed it no longer justifiable for them to live with their mother. Italy has a high proportion of adults living with their parents, with almost 70% of people aged 18 to 34 still residing at home.
