"Supreme Court Collegium's Transfer Recommendations Bring Relief to Jagan and Rahul Gandhi"

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of senior judge Justice Cheekati Manavendranath Roy from the Andhra Pradesh high court to the Gujarat high court, providing relief to YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Justice Roy had delivered several judgments against the Jagan government, including stalling the construction of houses for weaker sections in Amaravati and dismissing the CID case of insider trading against former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Another judge, Duppala Venkata Ramana, has been proposed to be moved from the Andhra Pradesh high court to the Madhya Pradesh high court.
