Saudi and Iranian foreign ministers meet in Tehran to restore ties.

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Tehran on Saturday to meet with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian amid a recent rapprochement between the two Middle East arch-foes. The two countries agreed in March to end a diplomatic rift and reestablish relations following years of hostility that had endangered regional stability. The move has left Israel largely isolated as it seeks to isolate Iran diplomatically, while Iran has been trying to mend its strained ties with several Gulf Arab states.
