Putin's Deportation and Depopulation Campaign in Occupied Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree allowing for the deportation of residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine who have not obtained Russian citizenship. Those who do not wish to become Russian citizens will be considered foreigners from 1 July 2024 and may be deported. The decree also includes a clause for the deportation of those who pose a threat to Russia's national security.
