Putin Suspends Tax Treaties with 'Unfriendly' Nations, RIA Reports

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the suspension of Russia's double taxation agreements with "unfriendly countries" that have imposed sanctions on Moscow, according to state news agency RIA. The measure, proposed by the Finance Ministry and the Foreign Ministry in March, comes in response to the economic sanctions imposed by Western countries following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
