Pawan Kalyan's Alliance with Chandrababu Naidu Sparks Enthusiasm in Andhra Pradesh

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has responded cautiously to Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan's announcement of an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for the next assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. The BJP's Andhra Pradesh unit stated that it currently has an alliance with only the Jana Sena Party and that the issue of alliances will be decided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president J P Nadda. The YSR Congress party mocked Kalyan's statement, claiming that he is an adopted son of TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and that his party was established solely for Naidu's benefit.
