Opposition Demands Election Redo Amidst Allegations of Rigging

Sierra Leone's main opposition party, the All People's Congress, is demanding a rerun of the presidential election, accusing the electoral commission of conspiring with President Julius Maada Bio's party to rig the results. Bio was declared the winner and sworn in for a second term, receiving 56.17% of the vote. The opposition party called for the resignation of the electoral commission chairman and his team.
