Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman were among 14 House lawmakers who voted against a resolution condemning Iran's recent attack on Israel, which passed overwhelmingly in a 404-14 vote. The resolution reaffirms and supports Israel's right to self-defense and the United States' commitment to Israel's security. The 13 Democrats who opposed the resolution have been critical of Israel, while Republican Thomas Massie, known for his non-interventionist stance, also voted against it. The House is set to vote on foreign aid packages, including a $26.38 billion Israel assistance bill.
