German court fines pro-Russia Ukrainian for justifying Russian invasion of Ukraine.

A Ukrainian national living in Cologne, who organized a pro-Russia motorcade and spoke out in support of the war of aggression in Ukraine, has been fined €900 by a Cologne court. Elena Kolbasnikova, who hopes to get a Russian passport soon, was facing up to three years in prison or a heavy fine. Her lawyer, who is also a far-right politician, announced that he would appeal the court's decision. Kolbasnikova has become the face of supporters of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Germany and has organized a number of large-scale events.
