"Far-right Turkish party endorses Erdogan's opponent in election"

The far-right Victory Party, an anti-migrant party, has announced its support for Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the main opposition party leader, in the upcoming presidential runoff against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two parties reached a consensus on the need to repatriate millions of migrants within a year. Erdogan received 49.5% of the votes in the first round of the presidential race, just short of the majority needed for an outright victory, compared to Kilicdaroglu’s 44.9%. Turkey is home to the world’s largest refugee community, including 3.7 million Syrians.
