Chandrababu Naidu Faces CID Interrogation and Supreme Court Appeal in Skill Development Scam Case

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president, Chandrababu Naidu, is being questioned by the Crime Investigation Department in connection with his alleged involvement in a multi-crore skill development corporation scandal. Naidu, who has been lodged in Rajahmundry central jail since September 11, is being given breaks every hour to consult his lawyer. The court has instructed authorities not to use any third-degree methods during the interrogation. This experience of being questioned and spending time in jail is a new and unexpected one for Naidu, who has been in politics for 45 years.
