Biden administration approves $2.6 billion military aid for Ukraine.

The US has announced $2.6 billion in new security assistance for Ukraine, including anti-drone guns, Patriot air defense munitions, artillery rounds, HIMARS missiles, ammunition for tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles, and more. The aid will be delivered in two packages, with $500 million coming from existing US stockpiles and $2.1 billion going towards procuring new equipment from the defense industry for Ukraine. The aid is intended to help Ukraine hold its positions and launch a counteroffensive against Russian invading forces.
