Amit Shah Blames Nehru's Mistakes for Kashmir Problem
Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir, led to separatism and terrorism in the region. He attributed the Kashmir problem to the mistakes made by former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, claiming that an untimely ceasefire during the war with Pakistan resulted in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Shah also criticized the Congress party for not accepting the Supreme Court's verdict on the revocation of Article 370. He highlighted the government's efforts to improve the lives of people in Jammu and Kashmir, including reducing stone-pelting incidents and providing laptops to young individuals.
