Italy's Deadly Floods: 13 Dead, Thousands Displaced and Homes Destroyed.

At least 13 people have died and billions of euros worth of damage has been caused by floods in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region. The floods hit agriculture particularly hard, with over 5,000 farms left under water. The extreme weather events are the latest in a series of disasters that have hit Italy over the past year. The government has promised an extra €20m in emergency aid, on top of the €10m allocated in response to previous floods two weeks ago. Luxury sportscar maker Ferrari, which is based in Emilia-Romagna, has announced a €1m donation.
