Pakistan hit by deadly floods due to heavy rainfall.

Heavy rains and hail have caused the collapse of houses and killed at least 25 people in Pakistan's northwest regions. Another 145 people were injured as uprooted trees knocked down electrical transmission towers. The government has allocated $1.3bn for climate resilience to mitigate the effects of natural disasters. Meanwhile, Cyclone Biparjoy is approaching from the Arabia Sea, and officials have been ordered to put emergency measures in place.
