Mass Evacuations and Armed Forces on Alert as Cyclone Biparjoy Approaches India and Pakistan

More than 150,000 people in India and Pakistan have been evacuated as Cyclone Biparjoy, a "very severe cyclonic storm," is expected to hit the region. The cyclone has already caused heavy rains and high-speed winds, resulting in at least seven deaths in India. Pakistan has evacuated 81,000 people and set up 75 relief camps. The cyclone is expected to hit the coast of Sindh province in Pakistan and Gujarat state in India.
