Zelenskyy Accuses China of Undermining Ukraine Peace Summit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has accused China of discouraging countries from attending a peace summit in Switzerland aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Speaking at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, Zelenskiy urged Asia-Pacific nations to support Ukraine and isolate Russia diplomatically. He expressed disappointment over some leaders' non-confirmation of attendance and criticized China's influence in undermining the summit. Chinese officials, however, claimed they are promoting peace talks and have not supported either side militarily. Zelenskiy also discussed Ukraine's defense needs with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
