Zelensky's Efforts to Strengthen Ukraine's Air Defense and Combat Capabilities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has hailed the decision by Denmark and the Netherlands to provide F-16 jets to Ukraine as "historic". Denmark has pledged to provide 19 F-16 jets, with the first six expected to be delivered around New Year. The Netherlands and Denmark are also involved in training Ukrainian pilots to fly the advanced fighter jets. Zelensky vowed retaliation for a Russian missile strike in Chernihiv that killed seven people and wounded over a hundred, stating that Ukrainian soldiers will respond to Russia for the terrorist attack. Russia claimed to have thwarted Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow and its region.
