US Sanctions Duo Supplying Iran's Drone Production

The United States has imposed sanctions on a network accused of supplying Iran with components to build drones, alleging that Iran is supplying UAVs to Russia and Middle Eastern proxies. The sanctions target 10 entities and four individuals involved in evading trade restrictions. The US Justice Department also unsealed an indictment against the alleged leader of the network, charging him with conspiring to illegally buy and export US-made microelectronics to Iran. Washington has long accused Tehran of supplying weapons, including drones, to Russia for use in Ukraine, where it has been engaged in a war for 22 months.
