"US Imposes Sanctions on Iranian Actors for Cyber Attacks and Drone Programs"

The US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has sanctioned six officials in the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Cyber-Electronic Command (IRGC-CEC) for their involvement in malicious cyber activities targeting critical infrastructure in the United States and other countries. The sanctions are in response to recent cyber operations by IRGC-affiliated actors, including hacking programmable logic controllers manufactured by an Israeli company.
