Ukrainian Officer Exposed for Orchestrating Nord Stream Pipeline Sabotage

A joint investigation by The Washington Post and German outlet Der Spiegel has revealed that a Ukrainian special forces commander, Roman Chervinsky, played a key role in coordinating the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines in September last year. Chervinsky oversaw logistics and support for a team that placed explosive charges on the pipelines, causing significant damage. While Chervinsky denies any involvement, the investigation suggests that he acted under orders from more senior Ukrainian officials. The Ukrainian government has not responded to the investigation, and President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly denied his country's involvement in the sabotage. Chervinsky is currently on trial in Kyiv for unrelated charges.
