"Ukraine's Defense Ministry Gears Up for Artillery Coalition to Address Weapons Shortages"

Representatives from 22 countries attended the inaugural meeting of the International Artillery Coalition in Paris, aiming to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities by providing new artillery systems to counter Russian aggression. The Coalition, led by France and the U.S., will support Ukraine's transition to Western-type artillery and achieve NATO standards, with France pledging to produce additional howitzers and donate long-range missiles and air bombs. The long-term goal is to provide Ukraine with a million artillery rounds by spring 2024, synchronized with the EU's plans, and to ensure the effective functioning of already provided artillery systems.
