Ukraine's Counteroffensive: Delayed Arms and Predicted Bloodshed

Ukraine's top military commander, General Valery Zaluzhny, has expressed frustration over the slow delivery of promised weaponry by Western backers, including F-16 fighters, which has hindered Ukraine's counteroffensive efforts against Russian forces. Zaluzhny emphasized the urgent need for adequate firepower, stating that a limited number of planes and resources would be sufficient. President Volodymyr Zelensky also accused some Western partners of delaying plans to train Ukrainian pilots to fly fighter jets. The US has claimed to be providing Ukraine with necessary support, but leaked documents have revealed significant shortfalls in Western-supplied weaponry and ammunition.
