Ukraine Urges NATO for Membership Signal at Vilnius Summit

The Ukrainian Parliament has adopted an appeal to the participants of the NATO Summit in Vilnius, calling for guarantees of Ukraine's full membership in the Alliance and a mechanism for inviting it to NATO. The appeal also seeks support for President Zelensky's Peace Formula and the establishment of a crisis consultation mechanism with Ukraine. Ukrainian parliamentarians highlight the country's progress in Euro-Atlantic integration and military standards compatibility with NATO. The summit participants are urged to recognize the inexpediency of Ukraine's completion of the NATO Membership Action Plan and to make a strategic decision to invite Ukraine to join NATO.
