Ukraine claims victory over Russian air attack on Kyiv.

Ukraine denied Russia's claim that a US-made Patriot missile defence system was destroyed by a Russian hypersonic missile during an air strike on Kyiv. While two US officials confirmed that the Patriot system had suffered damage, it did not appear to have been destroyed. The Patriot system is one of the advanced air defence units supplied by the West to help Ukraine repel Russian air strikes following Moscow's invasion last year.
