Russia Successfully Foils Ukrainian Assault on Crimean Bridge

Ukrainian forces launched rocket and drone attacks on the Crimean Bridge and other targets in Crimea, but no casualties or damage were reported, according to Russia's Defence Ministry. The bridge, which links Russian-annexed Crimea to Russia, has been repeatedly targeted by Ukrainian forces since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2014. Russia's Foreign Ministry vowed retaliation for what it called a "terrorist attack" on the bridge. Separately, Russian forces destroyed 20 Ukrainian drones launched onto the Crimean Peninsula.
