Russia Bans Polish Anti-War Group, Citing 'Undesirability'

Russian authorities have declared the Polish-based anti-war group For a Free Russia an "undesirable organization," criminalizing any involvement with the collective. The group, established in 2015, aims to transform Russia into a democratic state and consolidate the Russian democratic movement in Europe. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office accuses the group of involving Russians in volunteer battalions within the Ukrainian armed forces and training "resistance groups." This move is part of Russia's ongoing crackdown on foreign NGOs, targeting independent news outlets, human rights groups, environmental organizations, and educational institutions.
