Putin Reviews African Proposals to Resolve Ukraine Conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia is carefully examining proposals made by African leaders to end the conflict in Ukraine. The Russia-Africa summit, which followed Russia's withdrawal from a deal allowing Ukrainian grain exports through the Black Sea, has raised concerns among African nations. The African proposals include military de-escalation, security guarantees, and mutual recognition of sovereignty. However, Ukraine rejected the offer, stating that it would not ensure the removal of Russian troops from Ukrainian soil. The Kremlin has also expressed doubts about the feasibility of implementing the African proposals.
