Pakistan's Foreign Minister to Visit India for SCO Meeting After 7-Year Hiatus

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will lead a delegation to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in Goa, India on May 4-5. This will be the highest-level visit to India by any Pakistani leader in recent years and could be an opportunity to improve relations between the two nations. India assumed the rotating presidency of the SCO in 2022 and will host the next summit of council of heads of state this year. The SCO has eight member states, including India and Pakistan, and aims to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation among member states.
