NATO intercepts Russian aircraft over Baltic Sea.

British and German fighter jets intercepted Russian fighters and intelligence aircraft over the Baltic Sea as part of NATO's joint air policing efforts in the region. The RAF and German Air Force are operating Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets out of Amari Air Base in Estonia as a combined force to protect NATO's eastern flank. The intercept was routine, but NATO's commitment to collective defense of its airspace remains steadfast and resolute.
