Lavrov: Ukraine Conflict Won't End Until West Abandons Defeat Plans

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated in an interview that the armed confrontation in Ukraine will persist until the West abandons its plans to dominate and defeat Moscow. Lavrov accused the "US-led collective West" of seeking to strengthen its global hegemony and inflict a strategic defeat on Russia through its support of Ukraine. He also criticized Kyiv for disregarding Indonesia's peace plan and promoting its own ultimatums. Lavrov urged the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to resolve issues in Myanmar without interfering in its domestic affairs.
