International Support for Ukraine's Territorial Integrity Confirmed at Jeddah Conference

Representatives from around 40 countries participating in the Saudi-hosted Ukraine peace talks in Jeddah expressed their support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and the principles of the UN Charter. China, a longtime ally of Russia, attended the talks and did not object to Ukraine's territorial integrity being respected. The meeting was seen as a step towards implementing Ukraine's 10-step peace formula, and Ukraine hopes to hold a global peace summit in the fall. Russia did not participate in the talks and continues to refuse to leave the occupied territories of Ukraine.
