"International Court Dismisses Ukraine's Claims Against Russia"

The International Court of Justice dismissed much of Ukraine's case against Russia, finding that Russia violated a UN anti-terrorism treaty but declining to rule on allegations related to the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. The court also found that Russia breached an anti-discrimination treaty by failing to support Ukrainian language education in Crimea. However, the court rejected Ukraine's requests for reparations and only ordered Russia to comply with the treaties. The judgments are final and without appeal, but the court has no way to enforce its rulings.
